– Mindfulness Day
With Dr Kamila Hortynska
Join me for The Inner Alchemy Retreat in the quiet venue at The Hollies Park in Leeds, away from the business of everyday life.
We will use the wisdom and beauty of nature as an inspiration to take stock of the past year and prepare for the Winter ahead.
We will use special breathing techniques, mindfulness meditations, movement practices, reflective writing and other exercises to learn how best to use darker days to renew and replenish our energy for the New Beginning.
We will connect deeply, share honestly and support each to find Inner Peace and honour the truth in Heart & Spirit.
Come and dedicate one day to:
- Practice mindfulness and awareness
- Do reflective writing and open-hearted sharing
- Dance or walk with presence
- Enjoy the tranquillity of nature.
- Connect with others on a self-healing path
- And simply let go and recharge

What Previous Attendees Have Said
“Kamila’s retreats are enormously enjoyable and effective. Kamila leads in a gentle and encouraging way. I have found that taking time out to understand myself more, to understand what is really important in life, whilst meeting new and interesting people in a safe and nurturing environment has helped me develop as a person.”
Richard
Previous Retreat Attendee“I was nervous and was not sure what to expect, but at the end of the day I felt such clarity and peace and this poem came to me:
This feeling of calm and quiet is not on the moon, does not cost a fortune and does not take a lifetime.
This feeling of calm and quiet is there for the taking, is within reach and is a gift of living.
This feeling of calm and quiet feels awkward, feels unknown and feels unjustifiable.
This feeling of calm and quiet feels exhilarating, feels real, feels necessary”
Joy
Previous Retreat Attendee“Kamila’s retreats give me a chance to pause, to reconnect with mindfulness and nurture myself. They take place in a peaceful, safe space where it is good to share the experience with others. It always feels very supportive.”
Sally
Previous Retreat Attendee“I felt unsure about mindfulness up to now, but this retreat has helped me to open to it. It had a very useful structure, good mix of talk and practice, and I really valued a space to reflect. I liked Kamila’s enthusiasm, flexibility to adapt to participants’ preferences and a wealth of knowledge in the area. It was very well presented, but the most useful part for me was seeing, hearing and working mindfulness”
Karen
Previous Retreat Attendee“The retreat was fun and interesting too. I appreciated the range of meditations, and it was obvious from the session feedback that different practices resonated individually. For my part, as a fairly experienced mindfulness practitioner, I set my intentions to deepen my wisdom and further develop my ethical daily life, and, of course, this event has moved things on a notch. Group participation always brings something extra to our humanity and compassion, so thank you for organising the opportunity connect with others.”
